Nigerian skit maker Nasty Blaq has addressed the rising trend of online criticism and disrespect directed at Nigerian music icon Davido.   In an X (formally Twitter) post sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, Nasty Blaq expressed his concern, emphasizing the artist's consistent efforts to help others despite facing increasing negativity.  "The disrespect Davido is getting is way too much sha, man just wants to help people and that's all," Nasty Blaq wrote, highlighting what he sees as an unfair response to Davido's goodwill.   Nasty Blaq's remarks follow a controversy involving content creator Korty EO, who aired her grievances regarding an unreleased interview with Davido.

According to Korty, the interview was initially approved by Davido's team, only for them to later ask her not to publish it. Read Also:Davido Returns To Atlanta For The "Davido & Friends Birthday Concert" At State Farm Arena Presented By Wynn Records  She shared her frustration online, recounting her experience with Davido's team and other artists who had similarly requested that she withhold content after filming.

Korty explained her decision to refrain from challenging Davido's team, noting, "I am not scared of anyone, but I am wise enough to stay out of battles I'm not equipped for."  Emphasizing her commitment to her work, she urged artists to avoid appearing on her show if they are hesitant about transparency. "If you don't want people to see you for who you are, please do not come on my show.

Stop wasting my time," she added.
