Popular Nigerian songstress and actress, Tiwa Savage, has shared a surprising insight into her hit songs "Eminado" and "Dorobucci," revealing that she initially disliked both tracks before their release. In a recent interview on Cool FM, the singer made known that her then-manager, Don Jazzy, played a major role in pushing her to release these songs, despite her hesitations.She further recounted her reaction when Don Jazzy first introduced "Eminado" to her. "I hated Eminado when I first heard it.
Don Jazzy played it for me; I was like, I don't like it," she said. The award-winning crooner went on to describe how he insisted on including the song on her album, saying, "this album is not coming out if you don't put Eminado in it." Trusting his understanding of the market, Tiwa ultimately went along with his decision, even though she remained skeptical. "You just have to go with Jazzy, because that's Don Jazzy Now I have to perform it every time because everyone is waiting for it," she noted, acknowledging its massive popularity.
The singer had similar reservations about "Dorobucci." "I was the last person to do my verse, and I did not like it," Tiwa admitted.
