The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Weija-Gbawe, Michel Dankwa, has firmly denied allegations that he is soliciting raw materials from block factory operators to build his family home. Michael Dankwa clarified to reporters that the materials are being requested for important community development projects, specifically for two government basic schools in the area. According to the MCE, the blocks and roofing sheets being sought will be used to address critical needs in these schools. One of the projects involves roofing an ICT center at one of the schools, which has been suffering from leaks. The second project aims to construct a protective wall around another school to enhance safety.
