Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel artist, Piesie Esther has shared her evolving perspective on social media, recognizing its significant role in promoting her ministry. Initially, the 2023 VGMA Gospel Artiste of The Year viewed social media as a platform primarily for "Maame Water," a term often associated with negative connotations in traditional Ghanaian culture.

However, during a conversation on Adom TV's Showtym hosted by Sally Mann, Piesie Esther revealed her newfound appreciation for the platform.She stated, "When you take a look at things now, things have changed.

Things are not the same as they used to be.

Myself initially I thought social media was for 'Maame Water,' but I later realized it's a good platform that has become a part of us as humans and can actually support my ministry." This shift in perspective highlights the importance of adapting to modern platforms for reaching a wider audience and furthering her spiritual mission.
