The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced updates to the 2024 ballot statistics, affecting 20 polling stations where additional ballot booklets will now be printed.
This adjustment follows decisions made by District Registration Review Officers (DRROs) and High Courts, as well as corrections from the re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register.
In a press release on Monday, October 28, the EC confirmed that these revisions have been shared with political parties, independent presidential candidates, and authorized printing firms, ensuring that all involved parties are aligned with the updated figures.
The revised ballot information will guide preparations for a smooth voting process at the affected polling stations. "The Electoral Commission announces for the information of the General Public that, following the implementation of the decisions of the District Registration Review Officers (DRROs) and the High Courts as well as the revisions made after the Re-Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register, there have been slight revisions to the 2024 Ballot Statistics submitted to the Political Parties and the Printing Firms. "The Polling Stations for which printing of additional ballot booklets is required sum up to twenty (20).
