The Member of Parliament for Agona West, Cynthia Morrison, has denied any involvement of her supporters in the gunshot incident that occurred during a campaign rally in Agona West on Sunday, October 28.
Speaking to Citi News' Central Regional Correspondent, Calvis Tetteh, Cynthia Morrison emphasized that none of her supporters were responsible for the gunfire that injured one person and caused panic among attendees.
The incident unfolded when some supporters of Chris Arthur, NPP parliamentary hopeful, were en route from a campaign launch in Otinkorang, a community within Agona West.
They encountered supporters of Morrison, who were holding a mini-rally at Agona Nyankrom.
