Founded on a former military base that once housed doctors, nurses, and paramedics during World War II, the college started with just three students.
Today, it stands as a beacon of excellence in nursing and midwifery education, boasting an enrollment of 1,800 students.Marking its 70th anniversary, Principal Alhaji Karim Abdul Boakye Yiadom announced the introduction of four specialist programs for the next academic year, Critical Care Nursing, Perioperative Nursing, Midwifery with Neonatology and General NursingAccording to the principal, these programs aim to produce graduates who excel in general nursing practices and possess specialized expertise in critical nursing and midwifery services.
He added that this expansion responds to the growing demand for highly skilled healthcare professionals."These programs are designed to equip our graduates with advanced knowledge and skills, enabling them to provide high-quality care in specialized areas that are crucial for improving health outcomes.
