On his recent tour of the Oti Region, Vice President Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia received a rousing welcome from the chiefs and people, with Nana Odam Gyamfi III, Paramount Chief of the Asukoko Traditional Council, emphasizing the profound changes that Krachi East has experienced under the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The durbar, held in his honour, provided an opportunity for the chief and his people to voice their appreciation for the infrastructural and social developments they have seen since the NPP came to power. "Under the NPP, our district has witnessed real progress," Nana Odam Gyamfi III stated, listing improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education as some of the most impactful advancements for Krachi East. "From better roads that now connect us to other regions, to the healthcare facilities that serve us right here, these changes have made our lives undeniably better," he added.

The chief lauded the NPP for prioritizing these projects, which have tangibly improved the lives of his people.
