The Vice Presidential Candidate of the (NDC), Prof. , has called on residents of Bawku to prioritise peace as a path toward sustainable development.
Her appeal was made during a visit to the palace of the Bawku Naaba on Friday, as part of her two-day campaign tour of the Upper East Region.
In her address, Prof.
Opoku-Agyemang highlighted the significance of peaceful coexistence, stressing that community harmony is essential for fostering development in Bawku and surrounding areas. "Let us make peace a priority," she said, encouraging residents to work together for the growth and progress of the region.
