Yussif Sulemana, the Member of Parliament for Bole, has attributed the disruptions that occurred in Parliament on Tuesday, October 22, to what he describes as the arrogance of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament.
These disruptions ultimately led Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin to adjourn the House indefinitely, igniting discussions about the underlying tensions within the legislative body and highlighting the ongoing divisions between the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The incident took place during a crucial session in which L.I. 2462 was expected to be revoked, with both NPP and NDC representatives anticipated to settle into their designated seats.
Traditionally, the seating arrangement reflects the majority and minority parties based on their number of representatives.
