The Head of Communications of the Office of the Speaker of Ghana's Parliament, Peter Bamfo, made history when he was unanimously elected as the Secretary of the Legislators' International Network for Collaborative Solutions (LINCS) at the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) annual business meeting.
The NCSL was established in 1975 by state legislators and legislative staff and serves America's 50 states, commonwealths, territories, and the District of Columbia.
The election took place on October 21 at the NCSL headquarters in Denver, Colorado, USA.
This landmark decision makes Bamfo the first International Secretary of the Conference, signaling a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration among legislators. "I am honored to accept this position and to serve as the voice of our international members.
