The outgoing Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland has said she has the honour to pass on the baton to Ghana's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey who won the hotly contested Commonwealth Secretary-General elections.In a post on her X page she ssaid "It is my honour to pass the baton to my dear sister, the Hon Shirley @AyorkorBotchwey , who will succeed me as the next Commonwealth Secretary-General.
