Former Ghana's High Commissioner to India and President of the Professional Forum-Proforum, Sam Pee Yalley has described the OSP clearing of John Mahama in the Airbus 'scandal' as a sign of the ruling party's unjustified persecution of former president, John Dramani Mahama. The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng in his 24-paged in report of findings from the Airbus SE investigation stated "the OSP found no evidentiary basis that suggests that former President John Dramani Mahama or any other public official was paid bribes by Samuel Adam Foster (also known as Samuel Adam Mahama), Philip Sean Middlemiss, and Leanne Sarah Davis in respect of the purchase by the Government of Ghana military transport aircraft from Airbus."
Mr Yalley described John Mahama's vindication as evidence of "NPP's shameless peddling of falsehood and political witch-hunting against John Dramani Mahama."
