Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has offered to cover the cost of mammograms and ultrasound services for twenty women who were screened at Rainbow Radio's free breast screening exercise in collaboration with the Trust Hospital in October.
The Ablekuma West Member of Parliament made the pledge when she joined the exercise on Friday, October 25, 2024.
The Minister underscored the need for Ghanaians, particularly women, to prioritize breast cancer screening since early detection helps save lives.
She commended the station for organizing the exercise, describing it as a great initiative.
