A 35-year-old woman, Mena Efua, is accused of selling her two-week-old baby for GHC300 in Nkotompo, a community in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region.
Her sister, Maame Esi, confirmed the incident during an interview with Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, host of Connect FM's Omanbapa Morning Show.
She revealed that she assisted her sister with the delivery last Monday, but the baby has since gone missing. "I assisted her to deliver last week Monday at home.
After a week, the baby is nowhere to be found.
