A young man in his early twenties has met his untimely death after he drowned in the Birim River.
The young man was part of four other individuals who were traveling in a boat a few days ago.
Details available indicate that the deceased was part of a group of young galamseyers at Birim in the Eastern Region.
Reporting the story on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Nana Stone said that the deceased and his colleagues were traveling in the boat to their galamsey site.
