A 25-year-old labourer, Isaac Odai Afotey, has been remanded in police custody by an Accra Circuit Court after allegedly attempting to rape a victim following a robbery.
Afotey is accused of stealing an iPhone X worth GH¢5,500 from the victim, whose name has not been disclosed.
In addition to that, he allegedly robbed another victim, Emmanuel Amegor, of an iPhone 6s valued at GH¢1,800, a wristwatch worthGH¢ 800, and slippers worth GH¢400.
He faces charges of robbery and attempted rape but has pleaded not guilty.
