Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, says she is ready to resume her campaign to canvas for vote.The MP who is recovering from an accident has pledged to embark on what she has described as a "retail campaign" to mobilize the people to vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December 7 general elections.The Jomoro lawmaker was referred to the United State of America (USA) to undergo medical treatment after she was involved in a ghastly accident in August.She was given a rousing welcome at the Kotoka International Airport by jubilant NDC Members of Parliament, Chiefs and party faithful upon return on October 23.Speaking in an interview with Onua News, the Jomoro legislator expressed joy upon seeing the large crowd, stressing the people are ready to join her to campaign for victory.She opined that the accident will not stop her from resuming her campaign to ensure an overwhelming victory for NDC."I am not fully fit but seeing this crowd means that it is time to resume my campaign to sell the policies of the NDC to the people, " she announced."The accident will not stop me and I am ready to work for the people and my party," she maintained.Affo-Toffey extended her profound gratitude to the NDC leadership, Chiefs in her communities and the party supporters for their prayers.She was optimistic to retain the seat with a wide vote margin yet prayed for God's favor to sail through this difficult time.Read also: Jomoro MP Dorcas Afo-Toffey survives serious accidentStory by Maxwell Otoo Onua FM /3news.com.
