The Speaker of has announced that the parliamentary sitting scheduled for September 3, 2024, will not take place in the usual chamber. This decision follows a request by the Majority side to recall , originally submitted on July 31, 2024, after the House was adjourned sine die on July 30, 2024. In a statement, the Speaker explained that the adjournment had been planned weeks in advance to allow for the retrofitting of the ary Chamber in preparation for the 9th . This renovation is focused on addressing structural defects and upgrading audio-visual equipment to prevent future disruptions and ensure the Chamber's readiness for upcoming sessions. Due to the ongoing renovation, the chamber will be unavailable for the scheduled sitting on September 3.
