Following the confusion that erupted in parliament over who is right to be on the Majority side of the house in furtherance to an earlier ruling by the speaker, tempers reported flared leading to heated exchanges.

MyNewsGh.com has sighed video footage of happenings in Ghana's parliament as the New Patriotic Party(NPP) led by its leader, Hon Alexander Afenyo-Markin was left in shock after their seats were taken over by the members of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) caucus during last Tuesday's sitting Arriving around 11 a.m., the NPP members refused to take their seats after the NDC caucus had occupied them, with Afenyo-Markin stating that their decision was to prevent chaos as the NDC had planned As the NPP caucus attempted to engage the media within the chamber, the parliament's marshal approached them, requesting that they conduct their press conference outside.

This led to a heated exchange, with Afenyo-Markin shouting, "Will you get out of here?" while confronting the marshal directly as he appeared to be getting on their nerves The MP for Tolon and First Deputy Majority Chief Whip, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu has to physically intervene, dragging the marshal away as the NPP members continued their interview despite the ongoing tension.

The Supreme Court recently stayed a ruling by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin declaring Four(4) Parliamentary seats vacant.
