The Member of Parliament for Agona West, Cynthia Mamle Morrison, has denied allegations that she accepted money from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in exchange to reverse her decision to contest the Agona West parliamentary seat as an independent candidate.
Rumors about her change of stance intensified following the NPP's walkout during a parliamentary session on Tuesday, October 22.
However, the former Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, in a statement, reaffirmed her decision to run as an independent candidate.
She emphasised that she remains committed to her campaign and is actively engaging with her constituents ahead of the December 7 elections. "When I heard the news, I was amazed.
