A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, has intimated that the two months left to elections must be used for productive ventures rather than the theatrics exhibited by NDC MPs in Parliament.
He argues that it is time to convince the undecided and unconvinced how they will create jobs, reduce the cost of living, fix our roads, secure our access to health and education, and make our economy more predictable for business decisions.
Therefore, he does not see the need for macho drama like the NDC MPs wanted in Parliament on October 22.
His post shared via X read "I am sure majority of Ghanaians will join me in commending Alex Afenyo Markin, MP, and Majority Leader, for his strong show of leadership and maturity, patriotism and wisdom with his decision to avoid any needless potential brawlish exhibition of HONOURABLE members which has been set up by the notice from the opposition NDC to ignore the Supreme Court and make themselves the "majority." He told Peace FM this morning that the NPP MPs have no interest in joining such a circus in Parliament tomorrow, fighting the NDC over chairs - who should occupy the Majority side of the House.
