Majority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has issued a stern warning that the Majority Caucus will take all necessary measures to defend their position and maintain control of the majority side of the Parliamentary Chamber.
His comments come amidst escalating tensions in Parliament over seating arrangements and ongoing political disputes between the Majority and Minority.
Speaking in response to recent allegations from Minority Chief Whip Governs Kwame Agbodza, who accused him of being "smuggled" into the Chamber ahead of an important sitting, Annoh-Dompreh dismissed the claims as baseless.
He made it clear that the Majority would not allow themselves to be pushed aside and that they would protect their position within the House. "We will do everything and anything possible to defend ourselves and make sure that they do not walk over us," Annoh-Dompreh declared on Channel One TV on Tuesday, October 22.
