Scores of supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have stormed the Parliament of Ghana ahead of Tuesday's sitting.

The supporters, mostly wearing NPP-branded shirts featuring images of NPP Flagbearer Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia and the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, were seen entering the precincts of Parliament.

According to reports, the NPP supporters were bused from the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency to show solidarity with their party's parliamentarians.
