The Adehyehene of Akuapem Awhirase, who is also the CEO of Jilcon Construction and Petroleum, Nana Opare Kwarfo I, has single-handedly built a modern Junior High School (JHS) block with a computer lab, equipped with computers, a library, and a teachers' office for Marfokrom DA JHS, his alma mater in the Ayensuano District.
The JHS facility was previously in a deplorable state, which made academic activities unattractive to students in the community.
This situation compelled many students to travel to nearby communities for their JHS education.
This challenge motivated the royal to provide the community with such a facility to help improve the standard of education and make learning attractive to students.
