The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has laid a wreath at Logba in the Afadjato South Constituency in memory of the late S.G Antor.The flagbearer who recognized the late S.G Antor as founding member of the NPP described him as a man of "sacrifice".The late S.G Antor was born in 1931.

Due to his fearlessness, he resisted the ideals of the late Dr Kwame Nkrumah and was later arrested.

It took the intervention of the British government to release him.His hard work and dedication to duty led to the formation of United Party (UP) tradition.

However, he later lost his life.The Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP laid a wreath in memory of him."He opposed Nkrumah from 1957 when he was a member of Parliament for the area which was known as the Kpando North Constituency""Nkrumah ordered his arrest for treason in 1957.
