Amidst the resignations of several government appointees over allegations of corruption and related offenses, the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the opposition (NDC), Osman Ayariga, has stated that these individuals will face prosecution if the (NPP) is voted out in the upcoming December 7 elections.
His remarks follow the recent resignations of the former Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana and the Board Chair of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB).
Speaking at the campaign launch for the Binduri constituency in the Upper East Region, Ayariga, who also leads the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, emphasized that an NDC government will ensure that the law takes its course against those who have abused their office, regardless of whether they resign. "NPP knows they have lost the 2024 elections.
Because of that, their corrupt officials have started resigning one after the other.
