Four Seats Declared Vacant: The law is what the Supreme Court says or decides – Nana Akomea

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Managing Director for the State Transport Company (STC), Nana Akomea, insists that Speaker Alban Bagbin's ruling does not stand.

He premises his argument on the fact that "The law is not what Speaker Bagbin says or decides" but rather "The law is what the Supreme Court says or decides".

His post shared via Facebook said "Ato Forson said the Speaker evaluated and decided that the MPs conduct breached the constitution.

That the Speaker's decision is a "lawful" exercise.
