In a bid to secure votes for the NDC in the upcoming 2024 elections, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has called on electorates in the Dormaa West and Dormaa Central constituencies to vote for the NDC in the upcoming 2024 elections, promising them development in returns.The NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has begun a seven day campaign tour of the Bono region.

The tour dubded; "Retail campaign" is to interact and propagate the good message of the NDC to the hard to reach community members in all the twelve constituencies of the region and also to having first hand information of their challenges so as to enable NDC take the necessary steps to address them when they are voted for to steer the affairs of the nation.The NDC National Chairman commenced the tour from the Dormaa West and Dormaa Central constituencies with durbar of Chiefs and community engagements at Kwadwokrom, Kojokumikrom, Krakrom, Yawkrom, Atesikrom, Nsesreso and Asensu number one respectively, emphasizing that victory in the 2024 election will require communal labour and urged the electorates to support the NDC to bring about relief for cocoa farmers and the wider community."Vote NDC for development and relief for our hardworking cocoa farmers.

Their prosperity is our prosperity, and we must ensure they are given the support they need to thrive" he said.Highlighting the party's commitment to the development of the constituencies, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa West, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, expressed worry about the voting pattern against the NDC in the constituency an the region as a whole.He further urged the electorate to support the NDC in its quest to improve infrastructure and provide better services for the people of Dormaa West.By Claude Kumi Abisa, Dormaa-Bono Region
