Akufo-Addo appoints three new ambassadors

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reportedly made three new ambassadorial appointments. The president, according to a report by myjoyonline.com, has appointed his Deputy Chief of Staff, Fawaz Aliu, as Ambassador-At-Large. He has also appointed Major General Charles Kojo Abedi Awity as Ghana's Ambassador to Serbia, and Peprah Ampratwum as Ambassador In-Situ. Fawaz Aliu, in addition to his duties as Deputy Chief of Staff, will take on a special diplomatic assignment as Ambassador-At-Large. Major General Abedi Awity, as Ambassador In-Situ, is expected to be consistently present and actively involved in key events or decision-making processes of the Akufo-Addo government.
