Black Satellites forward Aziz Musibau scored a brace as Ghana's U-20 side breezed past Niger's U-20 2-0 in their second group game at the ongoing WAFU U-20 Zone B tournament. The Black Satellites snatched a point from the jaws of defeat in their first game, with Jerry Afriyie scoring a late goal against Benin as Ghana drew 2-2.Afriyie's brace ensured that Ghana had a point on board before kick-off against Niger, who drew 2-2 with hosts Togo in their first game.Buoyed by the performance in the first game, head coach Desmond Ofei implemented a more cautious approach against Niger as both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first half. However, Ghana flew out of the traps after the recess, with the team picking off Niger's defence with crisp passing.Right after the hour mark, Aziz Musibau's long-range effort had a slice of fortune on it, as a howler from Niger's goalkeeper saw the ball go into the net to give Ghana the lead.Musibau was right on cue after 73 minutes to bag his brace and seal the points for Ghana as he finished from close range.Ghana managed to thwart any attempts from Niger to get back into the game as they held on for a 2-0 win.The win marks Ghana's first in the competition after an opening day draw, leaving the team with four points and on the cusp of qualifying for the next round of the competition.
