These are trying moments for me and the families, "he added.BackgroundSalifu Amoako, wife, and sales assistant granted GH¢50,000 bail eachA Circuit Court in Accra has granted the Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International Church, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, bail after his arrest over the East Legon gory crash on Saturday, October 12, 2024.Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha Amoako, were arrested after their son reportedly caused an accident that claimed two lives at East Legon.According to GHOne TV, the Accra Circuit Court granted Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako a GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties each.The court also granted one Linda Bonsu Prempeh, a sales assistant who is believed to be the one who gave the key of the vehicle that caused the accident, to Salifu Amoako's son, bail in the same amount with two sureties each, without justification.Bishop Salifu Amoako, Mouha Amoako, and Linda Bonsu Prempeh have been charged with "permitting an unlicensed person to drive."All three have pleaded not guilty as they appeared in court on Wednesday, October 16.The police, in a statement, confirmed the arrest of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako, parents of the suspect driver involved in the fatal road crash that claimed two lives at East Legon on Saturday, October 12, 2024.The accident, which involved their 16-year-old son, Elrad Salifu Amoako, led to the deaths of two people.According to the police statement, Elrad, while driving a Jaguar SUV (GN 7801-20), crashed into a 4×4 Acura vehicle (GR 2542-23) driven by Joseph Ackah with four occupants.The popular pastor and his wife were arrested on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.All White Candlelight VigilA candlelight vigil is set to be held in honour of Maame Dwomoh Boateng and Justine Agbenu, the two young women who tragically lost their lives in the horrific East Legon accident on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

The vigil, titled "All White Candlelight Vigil," will take place on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 5:00 PM, at the site of the accident.
