Majority Leader, Hon Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin has vehemently criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their conduct during a parliamentary session on Thursday, October 17.
His remarks at a press conference on Friday, October 18, 2024, come in the wake of heightened tensions between the two parties, which have escalated over the handling of parliamentary proceedings.
The lawmaker expressed his discontent with the NDC's conduct, stating, "In fact, Mr.
Speaker himself, despite doing their bidding, fell short of declaring them to be the Majority and still addresses me as Majority Leader." His comments reflect a deep frustration with what he perceives as the NDC's attempts to undermine the NPP's standing in Parliament.
