Otto Addo expressed his deep disappointment following the Black Stars' disheartening 2-0 defeat to Sudan in their recent Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifying match. This loss leaves the team in real danger, as they have yet to secure a victory in the qualifiers and are now on the brink of failing to qualify for the tournament in Morocco.Ghana have played four games in the qualifiers, two at home and two on the road and haven't secured a single win."It is really shameful that at least we didn't win our home games to get in a good situation for our away games," Addo lamented. He stated the need for the team to learn from their mistakes, admitting the painful nature of the current situation."We have to do better and surely we have to learn, and it's very, very painful.

But surely we can use this to learn from our mistakes," he added. With only two matches left, the Black Stars face a daunting challenge.

They must secure victories against already-qualified Angola and Niger while hoping that Sudan fails to earn points in their final games.
