The Electoral Commission (EC) says the presidential results for the 2024 elections will be announced at Regional Collation Centres before the national declaration at its headquarters.According to Deputy Chairperson of the EC in charge of Corporate Services, Dr.
Eric Bossman Asare, the move will help deepen transparency.He indicated that all political parties have agreed to this new format.
As a result, their agents will be present at the polling stations and collation centres to participate in the process."For every constituency, there will be someone assisting with the collation process, and the same applies at the regional level.
