Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes the Black Stars are struggling because the national youth teams have been left to collapse.

According to him, the senior national team, in the past have enjoyed success due to the conscious effort given to the junior teams.

Since the Black Starlets U-17 World Cup appearance in 2017, none of Ghana's male youth teams has been on the global stage while only Mohammed Kudus from that squad has been in the senior national team as a regular.

At the Black Stars level, there has been no major success with the performances dwindling over the years.
