The case of the East Legon gruesome road crash which claimed the lives of two 12-year-olds is turning out to be a case of parents paying for the sins of their son.

The Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International Church, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako; his wife, Mouha Amoako, who is also a banker; and a sales assistant, Linda Bonsu Prempeh, are bearing the brunt of the prophet's 16-year-old son's actions.

The 16-year-old boy has not been officially accused of a crime, probably because he is a minor, but his parents have been accused of negligence, with the sales assistant accused of giving the key to the Jaguar involved in the accident to the boy, knowing very well that it is illegal for him to drive at his age.

Prosecutors charged the three with various crimes on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, and subsequently released them on bail for GH¢150,000 after they pleaded not guilty.
