Ghana's Ambassador to Burkina Faso, Boniface Gambila, has expressed his displeasure with comments made by the (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, regarding the state of relations between Ghana and Burkina Faso. According to him, Mahama's remarks could incite negative sentiments among the people of Burkina Faso towards Ghana. He emphasised the importance of maintaining strong ties with neighbouring countries, particularly in the context of addressing terror threats from the Sahel region. "I wonder if the former president is fully considering the impact of his words. What he is doing is tantamount to inciting the Burkinabe people against Ghana, which is highly irresponsible. A former president should be more careful with his statements," he said on Joy News.
