Maxwell Kofi Jumah, Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Limited and former Mayor of Kumasi, has predicted that Akua Donkor, leader of the Ghana Freedom Party(GFP) and Nana Kwame Bediako alias Cheddar, a well-known businessman, will likely garner more votes than Alan John Kyerematen in the December 7 elections.

Jumah argued that Kyerematen, who recently broke away from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to contest as an independent candidate, has lost his political direction. "Alan is a man who has lost his path, and the reason is clear-leaving the NPP was his biggest mistake," Jumah asserted. "In this upcoming election, even Akua Donkor, with her grassroots appeal, stands a better chance of gaining votes than Alan." "Mahama is trying to weaken the NPP through Alan and Cheddar, but it's a hopeless strategy," Jumah added with conviction. "Alan will not make any significant impact.
