Former Black Stars player, Mohammed Polo has advised Kudus Mohammed to avoid the jersey number 10 due to to spiritual reasons.The West Ham United midfielder was handed the iconic jersey number 10 shirt and the captain armband for Ghana's double header against Sudan in the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers.Ghana drew goalless in the first leg in Accra and then were beaten 2-0 by Sudan in Libya, leaving Black Stars on the verge of not qualifying for next year's tournament in Morocco.Speaking to Connect 97.1FM, Mohammed Polo said Kudus should reconsider his decision to take the jersey number because of spiritual issues surrounding it.'We all remember what Kwadwo Asamoah came out to say sometime ago about the number 10 shirt sometime ago.
The dreams he said he was having and all.If Kudus is not strong spiritually, he should just stop wearing the number 10 jersey and go back to his 20 jersey because there is a lot in that jersey," Polo indicated on Connect 97.1 FM.Ghana have a slimmer chance of qualifying to the 2025 AFCON in Morocco after picking two points in their first four games played in the qualifiers.By Francis Hema
