The family of Felicia Afful, a victim of the recent dynamite explosion in Budumburam along the Kasoa-Winneba stretch, has been plunged into deep mourning following her tragic death.
Felicia, a petty trader selling provisions at the local market, lost her life on Monday, October 14, 2024, as she went about her daily routine.
In an exclusive interview on 'Say It Loud' on , Ante Ama, a close relative of the deceased, recounted the horrifying events that led to Felicia's untimely demise.
According to her, the blast sent shockwaves through the market, causing panic among traders and shoppers, including Felicia, who desperately sought refuge. "Everyone, including Felicia, was trying to find a safe place when the explosion happened," Ante Ama recalled. "But tragically, a fragment of rock flew through the roof of a nearby shop and struck her in the back, killing her instantly." "We were at the market selling around 2:30 pm when we heard the blast.
