Amenfi Central Member of Parliament, Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah, is not bothered by the petition to declare his seat vacant after he decided to contest the Amenfi Central seat as an independent candidate.
His argument has been that his political party treated him unfairly hence his decision to contest the candidate they endorsed.
Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah, who was speaking to the media in parliament on Tuesday October 15 said there were claims that he had pulled out of the race and thrown his weight behind the political party's candidate-a claim he described as falsehood. "The announcement went out that I said I had given my support to the person who forged documents, and because of that, the court injuncted it [the parliamentary primary], and the person was declared unopposed.
I felt that no, that is not fair.
