The Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr Samuel Awuku has shared how he generated huge revenue for the country while also pushing Ghana's lotteries back on the world rankings.
During an exclusive interview with Asaase FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Sammi Awuku disclosed that when he was put in charge of NLA, the charitas bowl had nothing in its coffers so he gradually generated revenue by working hand in hand with his team.
According to him, he tasked his team and gave the marketing department a target to hit for the year in order to generate revenue. "So I tasked my team and gave them a target of GHc1.5 million to raise within a year.
With motivation and staff morale and pushing them, we made GHc1.6 million that year.
