The Anti-Armed Robbery Unit of the Ghana Police Service has arrested four (4) suspected armed robbers and retrieved several sophisticated weapons.
According to the police, they received intelligence that an Urvan bus with registration number AS 4353-15, carrying four men from Kumasi to Konongo, was believed to be involved in a plan to commit robbery.
The Konongo Divisional Taskforce was assigned to apprehend the suspects.
The team successfully intercepted the vehicle, driven by Shadrack Anartey, with Emmanuel Agyei Donkor, Abu Ali (of Fulani descent), and Abubakar Buba, a Nigerian, on board.
