The Chief of Gbrumani, Naa Mohammed Abdulai, has warned community members to ensure that they vote massively for the Tolon Member of Parliament (MP), Alhaji Habib Iddrisu and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 general elections or be cursed by the gods of the land. "Whoever fails to vote the NPP come December 7 from this community May the gods kill you, any woman who votes for NDC and goes to the river to fetch water may the river kill her." He invoked the spirits of the gods.
According to him, the Gbrumani community has witnessed massive developmental projects in the area during the regime of Alhaji Habib Iddrisu and the NPP government. " With the kind of works the MP and the NPP has done in this community our gods will give them victory come December 7." He justified why he invoked the wrath of the gods.
Addressing the Gbrumani community when the Tolon MP, Habib Iddrisu paid a courtesy call on him during his campaign tour, he indicated that the Gbrumani community has been neglected by the NDC for a very long time and therefore does not see the need for community members to vote for a party that cannot help develop the community.
