Life Again, a non-profit organisation that seeks to address key barriers to girls' education and teenage pregnancy issues in the Upper West Region, has commemorated the 2024 International Day of the Girl Child (IDG) with major stakeholders and girls.
The day's event, which took place on Friday, October 11, 2024, brought together over 300 girls from various basic schools, including special schools, and was celebrated under a theme: "Girl's Vision for the Future".
According to Life Again, the event sought to recognise the unique challenges girls face worldwide and to promote their rights, empowerment and well-being.
Chief Executive Officer of Life Again, Madam Saudatu Mohammed encouraged the girls to aspire high and dream big.
