Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has questioned Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's decision to stay with the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government if he wasn't listened to.
Addressing party faithful in the Upper West Region, the former president, who is the flagbearer of the opposition NDC was of the view that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia should have resigned when the government decided not to heed his counsel. "If they don't listen to you the best you could have done was to resign.
Why should you stay in a government that does not listen to you," he said.
To him, the argument that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is not president and so he cannot influence decision-making for the county does not hold water.
