One of the individuals allegedly implicated in the Kotoka International Airport cocaine smuggling case, Eric Nartey Yeboah also known as Chairman Dollar, has broken his silence following the Ministry of Transport's announcement that all security officers involved in the case have been cleared of wrongdoing.

The incident, which occurred on March 23, 2024, involved the attempted smuggling of 8.5 kilograms of cocaine on a Royal Air Maroc flight.

The drugs were intercepted at Brussels Airport in Belgium, leading to accusations that a staff member of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) had facilitated the smuggling operation.

In response, GACL suspended several employees while an investigation was carried out.
