As the December 7 election draws closer, the political parties have intensified campaigns across the country, especially in the Ashanti Region.

The door to door and community engagement strategies have currently been adopted by the parties.

At Adansi-Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, some supporters of the New Patriotic Party who were at a mini-rally suddenly ditched the event when they saw the presidential candidate for Alliance for Revolutionary Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.

They mobbed him, demanded his t-shirt and wore it on top on the NPP shirt. "I am a supporter of the NPP but I'm voting for Alan for his contribution to the party", Osei Nsiah said.
