An illegal miner, frustrated by the recent government crackdown on galamsey, has threatened to lead his community in voting against the NPP in the upcoming December 7, 2024 general elections.
This reaction followed a military taskforce's decision to burn the excavator he used for his mining activities.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the miner expressed his anger at President Akufo-Addo's ongoing efforts to eliminate illegal mining.
He vowed that the NPP would face consequences at the polls, stating, "We will stop campaigning for the party, whether they like it or not, we will vote against them during the general elections.
